Richard Jacaruso, DO is a skilled clinical cardiologist with an unsurpassed level of expertise in nuclear cardiology and echocardiographic interpretation.  Coupled with a masterful understanding of computer science, Dr. Jacaruso serves as the Director of Cardiac Imaging Services for Island Cardiac Specialists. Dr. Jacaruso is a voluntary advisor to GE Medical®, assisting in the evaluation and development of imaging software.  

Dr. Jacaruso is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine with board certifications in Cardiovascular Disease and Nuclear Cardiology.  His postgraduate training included residency training in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Clinical Cardiology at Winthrop University Hospital.

Dr. Jacaruso continues to care for patients both on an outpatient and inpatient basis, assuring a quality of care which is second to none.
